A bit about me!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and received my masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Adler University (Chicago, IL). I employ a person-centered approach to counseling and believe that open-mindedness, empathy, trust and respect are essential in order to help individuals make progress toward growth and recovery. My counseling background includes helping working professionals manage feelings of burnout, parent coaching, behavioral issues in children, grief/loss, trauma-informed counseling, depression and anxiety, LGBTQIA+ issues, self-esteem and self-worth, coping with mental illness, and crisis de-escalation. Throughout my career I have provided individual and group counseling in settings such as college wellness centers, partial-care outpatient programs, after school and summer programming, and residential mental health.

I have been in private practice for 4 years and love working with individuals to help them develop coping strategies, embrace self-compassion, build emotional resilience, and heal through reflection and insight building. I understand that therapy can be challenging, for both those who have done this before or if it is your first time! Together we can take things one step at a time and figure out the best way to meet your therapy needs. I look forward to connecting with you!
